-- Need two day shift providers

Shift Description
-- Weekend Day shift coverage
-- Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
-- 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
-- 10-hour shifts
-- Providers must work all 4 consecutive days
-- Option to add 1 additional Day shift on Tuesday or Thursday

Requirements
-- Board Certified in Anesthesiology
-- Active Colorado license or IMLC LOQ
-- Trauma Level I experience (2 years outside of residency)
-- Must cover 2 weekends per month
-- Must perform central lines and open vascular procedures
-- Must be comfortable with pediatrics
-- ACLS, BLS, PALS or APLS

Required Procedures / Skills:
-- General anesthesia (adult and trauma)
-- Acute pain management
-- Spinal anesthesia
-- Epidural anesthesia
-- Minor nerve blocks
-- Central line placement
-- Arterial line placement
-- Regional anesthesia surgery
-- Obstetrical cases
-- Neurosurgical cases
-- Complex vascular cases excluding open heart
-- Complex orthopedic cases
-- Local infiltration
-- Ultrasound-guided block placement
-- Ventilation management
-- Evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues
-- IV regional anesthesia

Assignment Details:
-- No first-time locums
-- Practice mix: Adult 80%, Trauma 20%
-- Patient population: Mostly adult
-- Approximately 60 surgical cases per day
-- Case mix includes general, neuro, complex vascular, and complex orthopedic
-- 22 operating rooms
-- 55 anesthesiologists and 30 CRNA/AAs
-- Other anesthesiologists present during coverage
-- Medical direction model with CRNA/AAs approximately 40% of the time
-- Trauma Level I
-- EMR: Epic
