-- Credentialing time frame: 120 days
-- 2 candidates needed
Shift Details-- 10, 12, or 24-hour shifts available
-- Weekend call required: 72-hour home call
Requirements-- Board Certification and Fellowship required
-- Active Tennessee license required (candidates needing license acquisition will not be accepted)
-- M.D. / D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine
-- Completion of approved Anesthesia residency
-- Active ECFMG and FLEX (if applicable)
Required Procedures / Skills-- Comfort with hearts and TEEs required (TEE certification not required)
-- General and Cardiac Anesthesia
Assignment Details-- Practice setting: Hospital (10 Anesthesia rooms)
-- Case types: General, Cardiac, Neuro, Ortho
-- Care model: Medical direction / supervision model; MDs supervise CRNAs at a 1:8 ratio (MDs do not perform their own cases)
-- Responsibilities: Directing and coordinating department activities, pre-anesthesia assessments, verifying consents, patient/family discussions, induction/maintenance/emergence, continuous physiological monitoring, and clinical interventions as needed
