Cardiothoracic Surgery Locums Job in Connecticut | Monday - Friday With Night/Weekend Rotation | February/March Start For 3-6 Months of Coverage | Assignment #112829
Coverage Needed:
-- February/March start for 3-to-6-month assignment
-- Potential for extension
Shift Descriptions:
-- Monday – Friday, 6:45am – 5pm + call
-- Rotation for nights/weekends, approximately 7-8 calls per month
Requirements:
-- Board Certified
-- Must be licensed in Connecticut
-- BLS and ACLS certifications
-- Local provider
-- Procedures/Skills:
-- Descending aortic aneurysms
-- CABG
-- Off-pump CABG
-- Arterial revascularization (using internal mammary arteries)
-- Radial artery and gastroepiploic artery
-- Redo coronary revascularization
-- Tube thoracostomy
-- Pericardial window
-- Thoracic aortic aneurysms
-- Heart valve repair/replacement surgery
-- CoreValve® System
-- Mitral valve repair
Assignment Details:
-- Level I trauma facility
-- Inpatient OR, ICU, rounding of patients in ER and floors
-- EMR: Epic
-- Number of operating rooms: 3
-- Full complement ancillary staff
-- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30-45 days
