-- General Cardiac Surgery, General Thoracic Surgery (preferred, not required), and Congenital Cardiac Surgery

Requirements
-- Board Certified
-- Must be licensed in Kentucky
-- Procedures/skills: Impella support (Insertion/Removal/Bailout), Structural Heart Support (in Hybrid OR / Cath Lab)
-- Clean background

Assignment Details
-- Average cases per day: 1-2
-- EMR: Epic
-- Number of Operating Rooms: 1 Heart, 1 Hybrid
-- Duties/responsibilities include:
    -- CABG
    -- Off-Pump CABG
    -- Arterial Revascularization (Using Internal Mammary Arteries, Radial Artery and Gastroepiploic Artery)
    -- Redo Coronary Revascularization (With or Without Heart Valve Surgery)
    -- Tube Thoracostomy
    -- Pericardial Window
    -- Tracheostomy
    -- Thoracic aortic aneurysms
    -- Flexible and Rigid Bronchoscopy
    -- Thoracotomy Lung Biopsy
    -- Thoracotomy Lung Resections and Pneumonectomy
    -- Thoracotomy Decortication
    -- Mediastinal Surgery
    -- Mediastinotomy and Biopsy
    -- Surgical “Open' Aneurysm Repair
    -- Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery
    -- Mitral Valve Repair
-- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days
