-- Friday (AM) through Monday (AM)
-- Daytime hospital rounding: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
-- Call coverage: 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
-- Daytime rounding and call responsibilities
-- Weekend coverage required
Call Details-- On-call coverage required throughout assigned weekends
Requirements-- CT Fellowship required
-- Board Certified preferred; will consider truly Board Eligible candidates
-- Active Texas license required
-- Clean malpractice history preferred
Required Procedures / Skills-- Cardiothoracic Surgery
-- Provide backup support for Cath Lab procedures
Assignment Details-- Cardiothoracic call coverage supporting a Level II Trauma Center
-- Facility Trauma Level: 3
-- Cardiothoracic Surgery cases
-- Average fewer than 5 admissions per day
-- Hospital-based Nurse Practitioner available for support
-- Coverage needed due to provider shortage
-- Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days (Emergency privileges will be requested)
-- EMR: Meditech (transitioning to Epic on October 30, 2026)
