Cardiothoracic Surgery PA Locums Job in Indiana | Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call | Beginning September 14 - Ongoing | Assignment #115804Coverage Details-- September 14 – October 12, 7a – 7a-- October 23 – November 9, 7a – 7a-- November 20 – December 7, 7a – 7aShift Description-- Monday – Friday, 7a – 4p-- Night call, 4p – 7a-- Saturday and Sunday 24-hour call coverage, 7a – 7a-- Night call and weekend call requiredRequirements-- Indiana license-- NCCPA -- Local candidates – highly preferred-- Will not accept new graduatesRequired Procedures / Skills-- Maquet vein harvesting-- Cardiothoracic surgery experience/skills including office, bedside and OR - Highly PreferredAssignment Details-- OR only (first assist role) - Call for OR only; call back if needed-- Duties include assisting in surgery, writing prescriptions, rounding, ordering tests, pre-op physical exams, suture removal, and vein harvesting-- Daily responsibilities include hospital rounding followed by time in the OR-- Perform procedures including chest tube removal, pacing wire removal, wound care, and related bedside care-- Average patients per day: 10 outpatient and 5–8 inpatient-- EMR: Epic
