Coverage needed:
--7A-3:30P, Monday-Friday
--One weekday call and one weekend call Friday-Sunday
--Coverage needed ongoing for 6 months
Details/Requirements for Assignment #113164:-- Start date January 30th and ongoing. They will rush credentials if you're available to cover.
-- Can accept PA or CNP (acute care).
--Need experience with Cardiac and Thoracic surgery, including robotic thoracic surgery, Thoracic - robotic, VATS, and open thoracotomy. 1st assist
Cardiac - CABG, AVR, MVR, ascending aneurysms, dissections (no robotic), 1st and 2nd assist, Cardiac- must be able to harvest saphenous vein endoscopically with Hemopro, open radial &/or endoradial a plus
-- Also need experience covering ICU patients and step down for both cardiac and thoracic
-- Position will require 24-hour call and rounding on weekends and holidays
-- Must be Ohio licensed
-- 488+ bed hospital and level II trauma hospital
-- Inpatient coverage only
-- Will work alongside 2 cardiac surgeons, 1 thoracic surgeon and 5 APPs
-- EMR: EPIC
--Privileges include temporary pacing wire removal, IABP manipulation/removal, vein and radial harvesting, and chest tube sclerosis
