Shift Details-- 12-hour shifts Monday–Friday-- Weekends are 24-hour call-- 12–24 hour in-house coverage modelRequirements-- Board certified or board eligible-- South Carolina license required to start credentialingRequired Procedures / Skills-- First assist for cardiovascular surgery in the operating room-- Vein Harvesting
Assignment Details-- Daily patient volume approximately 20-- EMR: eClinicalWorks-- Hospital coverage includes consults and first assisting OR cases-- Three surgeons and two first assists on team-- Rounding in PCU and clinic in office-- Support includes one mid-level provider and one RN-- Floor procedures include chest tubes and thoracentesis-- ER and cath lab consults-- Assignment provides cardiovascular surgery call and hospital coverage while permanent APP recruitment is underway
