Cardiovascular Surgery Locums Job in South Carolina | 24-Hour Call | 2025 Holiday + Ongoing 2026 Coverage | Assignment #112170
Coverage Needed:
-- 11/27 – 11/30
-- 12/25 – 12/28
-- Ongoing 2026 coverage
Shift Descriptions:
-- 24-hour call, 7am-7am
Requirements:
-- Board certified
-- Fellowship
-- Must be licensed in South Carolina
-- ACLS certification
-- Procedures: Aneurysm Repair, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Heart Valve Replacement, TAVRS
Assignment Details:
-- Hospital rounding and Cardiovascular surgery (no thoracic)
-- Provider participates as “backup”
-- Facility does not have trauma designation but is seeking Level III
-- CV-related trauma surgery would be very unlikely
-- 24/7 cardiovascular-trained Anesthesia team and critical care physician coverage, as well as full ICU staff
-- Volume is less than 10
-- Surgeries per week: 7
-- EMR: Epic
