Cardiovascular Surgery Locums Job | Wisconsin | December Start + Ongoing
Jackson and Coker is seeking a Board Certified Cardiovascular Surgeon for locums coverage in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This opportunity offers a mix of inpatient, outpatient, ED, and call responsibilities with an established cardiovascular team.
Coverage Details:
-Start date: December 8, 2026
-Approximately 15-20 days of coverage per month
-Schedule and call coverage coordinated with the current CV Surgeon
-Inpatient census: approximately 2-6 patients
-Outpatient volume: approximately 2-15 patients
-30-minute new and follow-up visits
-Level IV Trauma Center
-Adult and geriatric patient population
-EPIC EMR
Assignment Details:
-Inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular surgery
-ED and call coverage
-In-house call as needed
-Must be comfortable independently managing and performing appropriate surgical cases rather than routinely transferring cases out
-APP supervision required
-Onsite RN, MA, and APP support
-No resident or fellow supervision
-30-minute call response time
Assignment Requirements:
-Board Certified
-Active Wisconsin license required, unable to wait for licensing
-ACLS required
-ATLS required
