About the Opportunity
A well-established behavioral health facility in Atlanta is seeking a dedicated Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for a full-time locum tenens engagement. This is a meaningful leadership opportunity within a 128-bed facility — 32 inpatient and 96 residential — serving children and adolescents ages 6 to 17.
Position Details

--Board certification in child and adolescent psychiatry is preferred
Clinical Focus
--Trauma and PTSD | Autism Spectrum Disorders | Mood and Anxiety Disorders | ADHD and Behavioral Disorders | General Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
Schedule
--One night of call per week | One weekend of call per month
What You'll Do
You will provide inpatient and residential psychiatric care across a diverse pediatric caseload and serve as Medical Director, overseeing all nurse practitioners on staff. Family communication is a core component of this role given the age of the patient population.
You will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary treatment team alongside therapists, nursing staff, social workers, and behavioral health professionals. Supportive administrative and clinical leadership is in place, and a PHP and IP program launching June 26th adds expanded scope and long-term growth to this role.
The current clinical team includes 5.5 FTE providers.
