C&A Psychiatry Locums Job in Ohio | Monday Through Friday | Beginning ASAP - OngoingCoverage Details-- Coverage dates: ASAP – January 2 (with possibility of extension)
Shift Details-- Eight hours per day, Monday through Friday
-- Weekends are available, with some after-hours call typically two days per week
-- Weeknight call is split with two other providers
-- Overtime opportunities may be available but are not typical
Requirements-- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
-- Must have completed a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship
-- Must have at least 12 months of physician experience, including experience in the noted specialty when applicable
Assignment Details-- Programs serve inpatient acute patients ages 5 to 17, residential treatment center patients ages 11 to 17, and male psychiatric residential treatment facility patients ages 7 to 12
-- Typical diagnoses include conduct disorder, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and PTSD
-- Caseload includes 42 residential treatment center patients seen once weekly and 6 to 8 inpatient cases seen daily
-- Three to five new patients per day
-- Follow-up visits are included in the total encounters per day
-- Follow-up visits are allotted 20 minutes, and new-patient visits are allotted 45 minutes
-- Support includes a full-time psychiatrist and full-time psychiatric nurse practitioner, with two psychiatric nurse practitioners supporting weekends and holidays
