Pediatric Critical Care NP Locums Job in Oklahoma | Night Shift | Beginning June 22 – December 31 | Assignment #114467Coverage Details-- Night shift, 5:00 pm – 6:30 am
-- Seeking candidates available for 7–10 shifts per month
Requirements-- Active RN and APRN license in the state of Oklahoma
-- Pediatric Acute Care NP with acute care training acceptable
-- Must obtain required Oklahoma licensure within 30 days after offer of employment
-- Prescriptive authority required within 6 months of hire
-- Active DEA
-- CPR certification and advanced life support certifications as relevant to practice area (ACLS, PALS, NRP) obtained within 90 days of employment
-- BLS
-- Vent management skills
Assignment Details-- Pediatric ICU APP role in a cardiac ICU setting, 25 bed
-- Unit primarily cares for post-operative patients, including neonatal surgeries, VAD patients, and potential heart transplant patients
-- In-house cardiac ICU physician coverage overnight
-- APP functions as an independent healthcare provider working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
-- Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, treatment, care planning, documentation, patient and family education, and care coordination
-- EMR: EPIC
