-- Credentialing timeframe: 30–60 days
Requirements-- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
-- Active unrestricted Louisiana medical license
-- Louisiana state controlled substance registration
-- DEA
-- ACLS
-- ATLS
-- PALS required if not EM trained
-- One or more years of training with at least a 3-year residency in EM, FM, or IM, or completion of an ACGME/AOA-approved residency program
-- 3rd-year residents accepted
Required Procedures / Skills-- Moderate sedation
-- Deep sedation
Assignment Details-- Estimated annual ED volume: 6,800
-- 20 hospital beds
-- 6 ED beds
-- Acuity level 4
-- EMR: Epic
-- Moonlighting for EM residents only
-- Services include physical therapy, rehab unit, and psychiatric unit
