Otolaryngology (ENT) Locums Job in California | Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm + Night Call | Beginning As Soon As Credentialed - Ongoing | Assignment # 117167Coverage Details-- Coverage dates: As Soon As Credentialed – Ongoing
-- Credentialing time frame: 2-3 months; temp privileges may be possible with clean malpractice history
Shift Details-- Weekdays: 8:00am-5:00pm
-- Night call: 5:00pm-8:00am
-- Frequency: Monday-Friday
-- On-call coverage required
Requirements-- California license required
-- Board Certification - Highly Preferred or truly eligible
-- Clean malpractice history strongly preferred for temp privileges
Required Procedures / Skills-- Flexible laryngoscopy
-- Sinus endoscopy
-- Cerumen removal
-- Otomicroscopy
-- Diagnostic biopsies throughout head and neck
Assignment Details-- Outpatient clinic associated with community hospital
-- 1 provider needed
-- Work 5 days per week between two clinic locations
-- General/comprehensive otolaryngology position within a large multispecialty group
-- Primary responsibility is seeing patients in the ENT clinic
-- Option to perform bread-and-butter ENT surgeries for assigned patients or refer surgical cases
-- Call is mandatory
-- Option to take ER call at one trauma site or one non-trauma site
-- EMR: Cerner PowerChart
-- Patients per day: 25-30
-- Support staff: 1 full-time MA and 1 surgery scheduler
-- Reason for coverage: Physician left group; ongoing recruitment for permanent provider
