Setting: Inpatient medical team within a behavioral health hospital
Schedule: 32 hours/week, Tuesday–Friday (approximately 8a–3/4p)
Overview:
Jackson and Coker is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (or PA-C) to provide general medical care to psychiatric inpatients and partial hospital patients. You’ll join a supportive, multidisciplinary team that values collaboration, autonomy, and patient-centered care.
Details/Requirements:
-- Start Date: March 16, 2026
-- Scope: H&Ps, rounding, med recs, labs, and consultative care for inpatient/PHP patients
-- Patient Ages: 5+ through geriatric
-- Practice: Independent role with strong physician and APP support
-- EMR: Epic (experience preferred)
-- Credentials: Active NP or PA license, DEA, Controlled Substance registration, BLS (AHA/Red Cross)
-- Experience: 3+ years (PA) or 6+ years (NP) in independent general medicine
