Sports Medicine APP Locums Job | Indiana, PennsylvaniaJackson and Coker is seeking a Sports Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide outpatient coverage with a well-established practice in Indiana, Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team and help maintain continuity of care during a temporary provider shortage.
Assignment Details:--Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
--Call Required: No
--EMR: Cerner
--Patient Volume: Approximately 25 patients per day
--Setting: Outpatient Sports Medicine
--Open To: Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
Practice Overview:The practice currently has two providers. One provider recently returned from medical leave, while the second provider will be deployed for approximately three months. The team is seeking an experienced APP to help support patient demand and ensure seamless patient care during this coverage gap.
Clinical Responsibilities:--Evaluate and treat sports-related and musculoskeletal injuries
--Provide care for patients across all age groups, from high school and collegiate athletes to older adults with chronic and acute injuries
--Perform arthrocentesis procedures
--Utilize ultrasound for diagnostic and procedural support
--Collaborate with an established multidisciplinary team
--Maintain continuity of care within a busy outpatient setting
