Shift Details-- 24 hour call coverage
-- On site for 8 hours during the 24 hour call period
Requirements-- Board Certified in Gastroenterology or truly board eligible in Gastroenterology within five years of completing a Gastroenterology fellowship
-- Fellowship trained in Gastroenterology
-- Active Iowa license or active IMLC (LOQ required at time of name clear)
-- Must be experienced
-- Clean malpractice and background history
Required Procedures/Skills-- Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
-- Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
Assignment Details-- Inpatient responsibilities at a large hospital setting in Iowa
-- Average daily hospital census of 10–12 patients with APP support
-- Number of physicians: 1
-- Number of advanced practice providers: 2
-- Services offered include colonoscopy, EUS, and ERCP
-- Medical imaging, lab, and pharmacy services available
-- 622 bed facility within a large regional healthcare network
-- EMR: Epic
