Requirements-- Must be Board Eligible
-- NM Medical License
-- NM Controlled Substance License
-- DEA (NM)
-- ACLS, ATLS, BLS
Required Skills-- General Surgery: Adult, Pediatric, Trauma
-- Laparoscopic Surgery: Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Hernioplasty
-- Chest wall/pleural procedures
-- GI Endoscopy: Upper & Lower (Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy)
-- Chest tube insertion
-- Central line insertion
-- PA catheter placement
-- Vascular access devices
-- Intestinal, Biliary procedures
-- Abdominal wall defects
-- Umbilical defects (Hernia)
-- Diaphragmatic hernia
-- Imperforate anus
-- PDA ligation
Assignment Details-- Surgery call for ER/Trauma + Inpatient coverage

-- Level 3 Trauma Certified facility

-- Hospital Beds: 162
