A growing hospital medicine program is seeking multiple Board Certified Hospitalists for long-term locums coverage. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-volume, collaborative team serving a diverse patient population with both day and night shift options available.
Position Highlights
--Long-term assignment beginning December 2026
--Multiple openings available
--Day and night schedules
--Internal Medicine and Family Medicine trained physicians welcome
--New graduates considered on a case-by-case basis
--Any active state license accepted
Schedule Options
Day Shifts
--7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
--9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
--7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Practice Environment
--Established hospital medicine program
--Level II Trauma Center
--Approximately 14–16 patient encounters per provider
--Diverse and underserved patient population
--Teaching environment with residency involvement
--Meditech EMR
Clinical Responsibilities
--General inpatient hospital medicine
--Admissions, rounding, and cross-coverage
--Respond to codes
--Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
--ICU & Procedures
--Open ICU overnight
--Intensivist support available
--Night physicians should be comfortable performing:
--Intubations
--Central lines
--Critical care procedures
Requirements
--Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
--Clean malpractice history
--No malpractice payouts
--No DUI history
--ACLS/BLS preferred
--Flu vaccination required
