Primary Care Physician Locums Job | Geriatric-Focused Outpatient Care
Coverage Duration: ASAP start for approximately 3–4 months
Schedule: Monday–Friday, day schedule
Patient Load: Typically 4–6 patients per day. No more than 2 new patients per day.
Position Details:
--Outpatient setting focused on comprehensive care for elderly patients
--Patient population typically age 70+ with multiple chronic conditions and cognitive impairment
--Internal Medicine or Family Medicine board certification accepted
--Geriatrics experience strongly preferred
--Hands-on care model emphasizing daily patient engagement and care coordination
--Multidisciplinary team collaboration with a strong focus on preventing hospitalizations
--Comfort managing complex medical cases required
--Ability to order IV fluids and routine medications
--BLS certification required; ACLS not required
