Neonatology Locums Job in Illinois | Night Shift Coverage | ASAP - Ongoing | Assignment #116794

Coverage Details
-- ASAP credentialing start
-- Ongoing coverage need through the end of 2026 and into 2027
-- Up to 5 shifts per month
-- Priority need is night coverage
-- 5 PM - 8 AM shifts (15-hour in-house coverage)
-- Weekends and holidays may be required

Shift Details
-- In-house NICU coverage
-- Primarily night shifts
-- Expected to work 1-2 consecutive nights when scheduled
-- Delivery attendance for high-risk births and congenital anomalies
-- Average NICU census of approximately 35 patients
-- Approximately 3,000 births annually

Requirements
-- Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (Board Eligible candidates will be considered)
-- Active Illinois medical license
-- Active Illinois Controlled Substance License
-- Active DEA
-- NRP certification required
-- Availability upon request
-- Clean and easy-to-credential candidates highly preferred

Required Procedures / Skills
-- Delivery attendance
-- Line placement
-- Intubation
-- Chest tube placement
-- Lumbar puncture
-- Exchange transfusion

Assignment Details
-- Level III NICU
-- Level I Trauma Center
-- Supported by Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, nursing staff, respiratory therapists, and leadership team
-- EMR: Epic
