Neurohospitalist Locums Job in Alabama | Seeking 1 Week per Month of Coverage Starting in August + Ongoing
This is a high volume, 12 hour inpatient opportunity with no night call requirements. Are you available for the below specific dates?
Seeking 7A-7P daily coverage (M-Sun) rounding at 3 facilities on the following shifts:
--Monday, August 31 – Sunday, September 6
--Monday, September 28 - Sunday, October 4
--Monday, October 26 - Sunday, Nov 1
--Monday, November 23 – Sunday, Nov 29
--Monday, December 21 – Sunday, Dec 27
Will round at 3 facilities each day, following the below schedule:
Location 1: Smallest, level III Stroke Center
* Average daily volume: Between 6-8 PPD
* Neuro staff: Solo on-site Neurologist rounding, will have tele-stroke support for initial stroke consults
Location 2: 25 minutes to next facility, mid-sized level III Stroke Center
* Average daily volume: 6-8 PPD
* Neuro staff: Solo on-site Neurologist rounding, will have tele-stroke support for initial stroke consults
Location 3: largest facility, primary stroke center. approximately 25 minutes from stop 2
* Average daily volume: 8-12 PPD
* Will work alongside 2 onsite specialized Neurologists here
Details/Requirements #116237:
-- Required: Active Alabama license & CSR/DEA
-- ACLS + BLS Certifications (or willingness to obtain these certs) are required
-- Board Certification required (will accept Board Eligible if within 2 years of training)
-- General Neurology service line to include following stroke patients post initial stroke consultation
-- Will be required to do inpatient rounding & consults at 3 facilities each day (no procedures)
-- Will work alongside of a minimum of 1-2 specialized Neurologists each day who work onsite at the largest facility & do tele-coverage at the smaller 2
-- No designated APP support specifically for general Neurology coverage
-- Cerner EMR
