Pediatric Neurology Locums Job in California | Ongoing and Up To Full-Time Coverage
Details/Requirements for Assignment #112412:--Active California medical license required
--Clean malpractice background highly preferred
--Board Certification required
--Fellowship preferred
--Dates of Need: Starting early 2026, pending credentialing.
--Ongoing clinic assignment with shared nights/weekend call
--Work Type: Mix of inpatient and outpatient, consisting of 6–7 half-day clinics per week plus on-call duties
--Clinic Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
--Commitment: Can be Full Time or Part Time; the facility is willing to accept rotating physicians (e.g., 2 weeks on/off)
--250+ bed hospital
--Patient volume: 5-10 patients per 24-hour call shift
--California license required
--Patient Volume: The physician will typically round on 0–4 patients per day
--Admissions/Discharges: Handled by the Pediatric resident team
--Procedures: The physician is required to read EEGs
--Stroke Protocol: Code strokes are not handled on-site; risks identified early are transferred
--Support: includes one full-time NP, one MA, and one part-time RN coordinator
