Shift Description-- Beeper call only coverage, 8AM – 8PM
-- 3-5 days per month on weekday and weekends, no clinical coverage
Call Details-- Call response time: 20 minutes
-- Call ratio: 1:3
-- Average 8 phone consults per 24 hours
-- Average 3 patients per shift
-- Admissions average: varies 1–2
-- APPs are on first call
Requirements-- BC in Neurosurgery
-- Fellowship
-- Active NC license ONLY
-- ACLS

Required Procedures / Skills-- General neurosurgery: Adult + Pediatric
-- Cerebrovascular: Open, Endovascular
-- Carotid or Vertebral artery surgery
-- Aneurysm clipping
-- Tumors
