OB/GYN Physician Call Locums Job in Georgia

Details/Requirements:--Credentialing timeline: can turn clean files around very quickly (less than 30 days)
--OBGYN to add to the pool who can cover dates we have open or consistent Friday call coverage
--Annual Births: 800-850 (~70 deliveries per month)
--12 or 24-hour shifts (7-7)
--Reporting for rounding before 9am preferred, 8:30am ideal
--Responsible for deliveries, rounding, OBGYN ER cases, and emergent surgeries
--TOLAC policy in unit now mandates providers onsite after 6cm dilation + pitocin
--Clean background/no malpractice
--BC required, active GA license and DEA
--Expect 2–3 callbacks per 24 hour shift
--No CNMs or APPs to support
--No students on-site
--In-house anesthesia
--No dedicated backup physician on site, but locum may triage patients to other hospital if needed
--In true emergencies, 3 local OBGYNs are available to assist
