OBGYN Physician Locums Job | Call + Clinic | Southwest Georgia
Our client in Georgia is seeking an OBGYN physician for locum coverage. This opportunity includes a mix of clinic and call coverage with strong support from midwives, APPs, and an OB hospitalist group.
Dates for Assignment: Coverage needed ASAP (30-60 days credentialing timeline - will look at a 12/15 start if possible but not required)
Clinic Hours:
--Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
--Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Job Requirements for Assignment:
--Looking for 5 days a week of clinic coverage, every week. Call coverage Monday-Thursday. Group covers call on weekend.
--CNMs on first call
--Long term locum opportunity (6-12 months) while a permanent candidate is sourced
--Active Georgia medical license required
--Comfortable with vaginal deliveries, cesareans, circumcisions (preferred), and most GYN procedures (Hysterectomy, salpingectomy, oophorectomy, A&P repair, bladder slings, ovarian cystectomy, D&C, myomectomy, exploratory lap, ovarian drilling)
--Support from 2 midwives, 2 APPs, and OB hospitalist group
--EMR: Meditech Expanse
--Average 20–25 deliveries per month
--Clinic sees ~70 patients/day with 4 advanced practitioners supporting
--Single hospital coverage
--Will need to be interested in both clinic and call to be considered (would prefer to have 1-2 providers to cover full schedule)
