OB/GYN Locums Job in Michigan | 24-Hour Call Coverage | Beginning ASAP - Ongoing | Assignment #117162Coverage Details-- Coverage needed approximately 3 to 6 days per month
-- Coverage at 3 locations
-- Two providers needed
-- Credentialing timeframe: 90 days (Temporary privileges available)
Shift Details-- 24-hour call coverage, typically 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.
-- Weekend coverage required
-- Beeper/phone call coverage
-- Call ratio of 1:5
-- Days of the week vary
Requirements-- Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
-- Active Michigan Medical License
-- Must be willing to cover all 3 locations
-- Candidates requiring licensure will not be considered
-- BLS certification
-- ACLS certification
-- PALS certification
-- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification
-- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
-- DEA registration
-- Clean malpractice history with no malpractice concerns or license issues
-- Local Michigan resident - Preferred
Required Procedures / Skills-- Broad scope OB/GYN experience
-- Ability to manage routine deliveries
-- Ability to perform cesarean sections
-- Ability to manage obstetric emergencies
-- Routine vaginal deliveries
-- Cesarean sections
-- Management of obstetric emergencies
Assignment Details-- 100% inpatient/hospital-based practice
-- Trauma Level I and Level II facilities
-- Average daily patient volume of 2 to 5 patients depending on census and acuity
-- Opportunity supports ongoing call coverage needs due to limited provider availability to share call burden
-- Physicians must be comfortable with minimal supervision
-- EMR: Oracle
