OB/GYN Physician Locums Job in New York | Call Only or Office with Call
OB/GYN locums opportunity in New York, with immediate coverage available and a greater need beginning January 2027. Flexible assignment options include call only or office coverage with call.
Details for Assignment:-- Typical privileging timeframe: 90 days; emergency privileges may be available-- Board Certification required-- Rural health experience preferred-- Office hours: 8AM–4:30PM-- Call shifts begin and end at 7AM; 20-minute response time required-- Call includes ED coverage, unassigned patients, OB call and GYN emergencies-- Required procedures include C-sections and management of ectopic pregnancies-- Approximately 400 deliveries annually-- One employed OB/GYN, with midwife and fellow support-- First assistant scheduled primarily for C-sections-- Level I nursery; high-risk transfers out-- Anesthesia physician and CRNA coverage available on call-- EPIC proficiency preferred-- ACLS and Fetal Monitoring required-- Most recent 12-month case/procedure log required
