OBGYN Physician Locums Job in Texas | Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call | Beginning March – Ongoing | Assignment #113743

Coverage Details
-- Seeking consistent coverage for 3–6 months beginning March
-- Preference for a minimum of 4 days per week for continuity
-- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days

Shift Description
-- Clinic coverage Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
-- Scheduled clinical hours with daytime rounding
-- Deliveries included
-- Evening call as needed
-- 7–10 days per month of hospital call coverage

Call Details
-- 2nd call / backup
-- Call response time: 30 minutes
-- Average per 24 hours:
  -- 5 phone consults
  -- 5–15 patients seen
  -- 5 admissions

Requirements
-- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
-- Fellowship trained
-- Active Texas license (TX only)
-- ACLS
-- BLS
-- Clean malpractice history

Required Procedures / Skills
-- Low risk pregnancy management
-- High risk pregnancy management
-- FHR interpretation: NST, CST, FSE
-- OB ultrasounds: performance and interpretation
-- Level I / screening ultrasounds (viability)
-- Routine deliveries: vaginal and low forceps
-- Clinical decision making for C sections
-- Office and minor gynecology procedures including IUDs, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.

Assignment Details
-- Patients per shift: 25–30
-- Facility trauma level: III
-- Support staff: 4 MAs, 1 PA/NP, 3 office staff
-- EMR: Cerner
