Oncology Locums Job in Arizona | Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call | Beginning March 9, 2026 - Ongoing | 2 Providers Needed | Assignment # 112965Coverage Details-- Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
-- Two Providers Needed
-- Back-up call (24-hour) for NP coverage on weekends
Requirements-- Board Certification – Highly Preferred
-- State License – Arizona or IMLC
-- Clean Malpractice – Highly Preferred
-- Certifications: BLS, DEA
Required Procedures / Skills-- Diagnosing and evaluating new patients
-- Ordering and managing chemotherapy and treatment
-- Reading diagnostic imaging
-- Overseeing infusion during chemotherapy
-- Inpatient rounds for consults and existing patients
Assignment Details-- Setting: Primarily outpatient clinic attached to hospital, with inpatient rounds on new consults and existing patients
-- Support Staff: 2 Nurse Practitioners, 2 program coordinators, 2 referrals/auth coordinators, 2 MAs, 2 infusion schedulers, 2 RNs for triage
-- Must participate in tumor boards
-- Must be up-to-date on current medical oncology recommendations and evidence-based practice
-- Credentialing timeframe: 45–90 days
-- EMR: Cerner
