Coverage Details
-- September 22 – September 30
-- October 21 – October 29
-- November 16 – November 20
-- Coverage needed 4 days per week with additional dates anticipated in 2027

Shift Details
-- 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
-- Clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
-- 5 clinic days per week
-- Night call Monday–Friday after onsite clinic coverage
-- 24-hour call on the weekend before or after the scheduled week
-- Call required anytime scheduled to work Monday–Friday
-- Weekend coverage as needed
-- On-call requirements dependent on locum and part-time provider coverage
-- Patient contact hours: 6

Requirements
-- Active Iowa License or Active IMLC with LOQ
-- Board Certified in Oncology with Hematology/Oncology experience and willing to see Hematology patients
-- Fellowship trained in Hematology/Oncology
-- Provider must be willing to work at a primary and secondary location
-- Clean malpractice and background history
-- Self-Query NPDB report pulled within 30 days

Assignment Details
-- Coverage is 95% outpatient and 5% inpatient
-- One of the two locations is inpatient only coverage
-- Daily clinic volume: 10–30 patients
-- Average daily hospital census: 10–15 primary facility, 5–8 secondary facility
-- Patient population includes Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial patients
-- EMR: Epic
-- Ancillary support: 1 RN or CMA per physician
-- Number of exam rooms per provider: 2
-- Medical imaging, lab, and pharmacy available
-- Appointment length: 20 minutes
-- Informal teaching opportunity available
-- Medical Hematology/Oncology coverage for 4 days per week with outpatient services comprising 95% of coverage and inpatient services comprising 5% of coverage
