Coverage Details-- ASAP – December 31-- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90-120 daysShift Details-- Full-time schedule, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM-- Shared call pool with APP support, 5:00 PM-7:00 AM-- Call ratio: 1 in 5Requirements-- Board Certified-- BLS-- Must be available full time-- Active Michigan license - highly preferredRequired Procedures / Skills-- FNA/Biopsy-- Participation on a Tumor Board-- Orders Tests-- Orders Images-- PrescribesAssignment Details-- Inpatient consult service, outpatient clinic, and infusion center-- Adult and geriatric patient population-- Goal for this position is to be nearly all hematology-- Number of physicians in practice: 6-- Radiation oncologists present during coverage: Yes-- APP support: 5 inpatient APPs covering 2 hospitals and 6 outpatient APPs-- Average hospital census: 10-15 patients per day-- Average outpatient volume: 15 patients per day-- EMR: Epic-- This is for both malignant and benign hematology (average of >90% hematology, <10% solid tumor)
