Coverage Details
-- Monday–Friday, 8AM – 5PM
-- On Call
-- Call ratio: 1 in 5
-- Call schedule: Monday–Sunday; weekday evenings (telephone), weekend rounding with APP support

Requirements
-- Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Medical Oncology
-- Active Michigan License – highly preferred (will review providers needing to obtain Michigan license)
-- BLS
--Must be willing to focus on thoracic (lung) cancer patients  

Required Procedures
-- FNA/Biopsy

Required Duties
-- Participation on a Tumor Board
-- Orders Tests
-- Orders Images
-- Prescribes

Assignment Details
-- Practice setting: Outpatient Cancer Center
-- Patient population: Adult & Geriatric
-- Practice mix: ~60% Hematology, 40% Oncology; primary focus on Lung Cancer, secondary on general/benign heme
-- Physicians in practice: 6
-- APP support: Inpatient team of 5 APPs; outpatient team of 5 APPs
-- Average outpatient patients/day: 8–16
-- Average inpatient census: 22 (2 hospitals), including 4–5 new patients
-- Facility Trauma Level: 2
-- Chemotherapy administration: Nurse Oncologist
-- Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
-- EMR: Epic
