Nocturnist NP/PA Locum Tenens Job – Inpatient Hematology/Oncology | WisconsinWe’re seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a locum tenens nocturnist opportunity supporting an inpatient Hematology/Oncology/BMT service.Schedule--Monday–Friday: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM--Saturday–Sunday and select holidays: 4:00 PM–7:00 AM--Rotating nocturnist scheduleDetails--Provide overnight care for Hematology/Oncology/BMT patients--Complete initial assessments, comprehensive histories and physicals, and admissions--Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing--Develop and monitor treatment plans--Respond to nursing and caregiver concerns and changes in patient condition--Enter and communicate admission, transfer, and treatment orders--Perform appropriately credentialed procedures--Collaborate with fellows, attending physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team--Complete progress notes, procedure notes, and other required documentation in Epic--Receive sign-out at the beginning of each shift and provide thorough sign-out to the daytime teamPreferred Experience--NP or PA with inpatient/acute care experience--Hematology, Oncology, BMT, or chemotherapy experience strongly preferred--ACLS and BLS--Appropriate NP/PA licensure and certification--WI licensure is preferred
