Orthopedic Trauma Surgery Locums Job in Central Florida | Seeking 15 Days of Call (with 2 days/week in clinic) Each Month Starting July & Ongoing
Jackson and Coker's valued client in Central Florida needs Orthopedic Trauma Surgery locums coverage support beginning in mid-July & ongoing. The client is seeking one physician to help with 15 days of 24-hour call coverage each month and may increase the need to add a 2nd Surgeon to help with the 2nd two weeks per month, if necessary. Are you available? Coverage need: * Seeking 24-hour call coverage starting the 2nd week in July & ongoing * Will need two full weeks (15 shifts total) per month; Will need it to either be consecutive OR 7 days at a time twice per month* Will be required to work 2 weekdays in the clinic each week * All coverage will be ED/trauma call coverage
Details/Requirements for Assignment #105467:+ Active Florida license + DEA required+ MUST provide a reference (from the last 12-24 months) and a recent NPDB self-query at time of presentation to be reviewed + Seeking candidates that are Board Certified and fellowship trained/highly experienced in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery+ Will work a minimum of 10-12 hours per day in the hospital (with 6-7 hours twice per week in the clinic)+ Clinic is located on the same campus as the hospital - clinic is primarily for your direct post-operative patients+ Will have a general orthopedic trained NP to assist with rounding + clinic + Orthopedic Program is known for being a busy, full-featured orthopedic surgery program with high-tech robotic capabilities and excellence certifications+ Facility is not a designated trauma center but see's level 2-3 ortho trauma cases (located directly next to a trauma facility), has Epic EMR & 300+ beds+ 100% adult patient population + 100% ED/unattached patient population+ Volume varies, however, can anticipate between 25-35 procedures per week+ Will be required to complete a health system specific EPIC training prior to your start date (or do a test out)Jackson and Coker offers:+ Weekly Direct Deposit+ Top Rated Malpractice Insurance+ In-House Travel Agency+ 24/7 Recruiter Availability+ Experienced In-House Privileging CoordinatorsExperience why Jackson and Coker has been recognized by Forbes and Staffing Industry Analysts for our commitment to service excellence.Apply Today!
