Full-time Clinic & Outpatient Surgery Center Based Orthopedic Surgery Locums Job | Starting November + Ongoing | Atlanta, Georgia Area
Jackson and Coker's valued client based in the Atlanta area needs 1-2 Orthopedic Surgeons to assist with covering their full-time clinic & outpatient procedure schedule starting the first week of November (2024) and ongoing. Look forward to the opportunity to have a consistent weekday schedule, splitting your week between covering 2 clinics on 3 days of the week and doing procedures in an outpatient surgery center on the remaining 2 days/week. Weeknight & weekend call coverage is required however, it will be light and will only cover ambulatory / attached patients (no ED call). Anticipated Weekly Schedule:--Monday: 8-hour clinic shift --Tuesday: Will do an 8-hour clinic shift on 2 Tuesday's each month & do an 8-hour outpatient surgery day on the other 2 Tuesday's each month (will rotate each week)--Wednesday: 8-hour clinic shift --Thursday: 8-hour outpatient surgery day --Friday: 8-hour clinic shift Details/Requirements for Assignment #105332:- Seeking coverage starting the 1st week of November, 2024 + ongoing - Active Georgia license required- Board Certified or truly Board Eligible - Consistent 8-hour weekday schedule rotating between 2 clinics + 2 outpatient surgery centers in the Atlanta area- Bread & Butter General Orthopedics + shoulder/knee scopes, hip fractures (please reach out to Shannon for a full list of anticipated procedures/cases)- Current physician is doing an average of 400 procedures (in the outpatient setting) annually - will do about 3-4 surgeries per procedure day- Can expect to see 6-12 patients per day in the clinic setting (each clinic will have other Ortho-Surgeons present & some APP support)- Cerner EMR
