Coverage Needed:
-- 3/13 (7am) – 3/24 (7am)
-- 4/23 (7am) – 4/28 (7am)
-- Ongoing
Shift Description:
-- Clinic: Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm
-- Call: 24-hour
-- Call coverage and then provider will do follow ups on their patients in the clinic
Requirements:
-- Board Certified
-- Must be licensed in Iowa or IMLC
-- Procedures/skills:
-- Total hip, knee, and shoulder replacement
-- Hand, wrist, knee, shoulder, hip, ankle, and foot surgical procedures
-- Trauma injuries, fracture care, sports medicine, and other disorders
-- Clean malpractice/background
Assignment Details:
-- Level III trauma facility
-- EMR: Epic
-- 1 nurse and 3 cast techs per provider
-- 2 exam rooms and 3 cast rooms
-- Appointment Length: 10-30 depending on new consult, recheck, post-op, or procedure
-- Medical imaging and Lab/Pharmacy onsite
-- Teaching Opportunity: IM and FM residency; PA student rotation
