Orthopedic Surgery Locums Job in Kentucky | Clinic + Call, ASAP and Ongoing
One of our partnering facilities is looking for a Locum Orthopedic Surgeon to start ASAP through December 31, 2026 and interest to go perm in 2027. Clinicians will be on 24-hour call, with 1 hour rounding inpatient and scheduled clinic hours Monday-Friday, with 1 day of OR coverage. Candidates should be comfortable with all Ortho Surgery procedures including joints, shoulders, hips, knees, hand and foot.
Job Details:
--Start: ASAP and ongoing for 6+ months
--Coverage: 24-hr call, with 1 hour rounding inpatient and scheduled clinic hours Monday-Friday
--14 shifts needed per month
--Procedures: Core ortho surgery, joints, hips, knees, shoulders, hand, foot fractures
--Could see some Peds in clinic
--No spine
Schedule Details:
--24-hour call Monday - Friday, 7a-7p (1-3 hours of call expected)
--~ 1 hour of rounding per day in hospital Monday - Friday
--Clinic Day shift: Monday - Friday, 8a-4:30p, with 1 clinic day being OR coverage
--Potential weekend call
Candidate Requirements:
--Active Kentucky license
--Clean background
--BLS and ACLS
--Active Kentucky Medicaid # or willingness to apply asap
