Requirements
-- Board certified in orthopedic surgery
-- Active North Carolina medical license and DEA
-- ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
-- Medicaid and Medicare credentialed and enrolled with PECOS
-- Provider must be vaccinated
Required Procedures / Skills
-- Arthroscopy
-- Total joint replacement (hip, knee, other)
-- Joint revision or repair (shoulder, hip, knee, other)
-- Hand
-- Tendon release or repair
-- Peripheral nerve surgery
-- Spine with and without instrumentation (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
-- Percutaneous disc surgery
Assignment Details
-- Inpatient setting
-- Call only coverage for unassigned patients
-- Admissions required
-- Patients per shift varies
-- EMR system: Meditech
