Full-time Orthopedic Surgery APP Inpatient Locums Job Starting in February | Florida License RequiredJackson and Coker's client north of Orlando needs 1-2 Orthopedic Surgery APPs to assist with inpatient weekday + weekend coverage starting in February & ongoing. The client is interested in filling a full-time schedule with 1-2 candidates at most and need candidates to hold an active Florida license, DEA + be experienced/comfortable working as a first assist in the OR. Are you available?
Coverage need:- Seeking weekday inpatient coverage + up to 2 weekends of 24-hour call coverage each month
- Ideal candidates would have flexible schedules (local is preferred but not required)
Assignment #113008 Details/Information:- Active + unrestricted Florida license & DEA required
- Must be comfortable and experienced working as 1st assist in the Ortho OR
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required
- Can anticipate working 8-10 hour shifts during the week (possibility of night call) and up to 2 weekends per month of 24-hour call coverage
- Will primarily cover one location but have the potential to be shifted to a 2nd location down the street as needed
- Duties: assist with pre & post operative patient care, manage inpatient ortho patients to include daily patient rounding & orders, participate in surgeries as needed (1st assist), collaborate with physicians + multidisciplinary teams
- Facility detail: not a designated trauma facility, Epic EMR, 300+ bed facility
