Orthopedic Surgery PA Locums Job in Idaho | Clinic Hours + Call | ASAP - Ongoing | Assignment #113914

Coverage Needed:
-- ASAP – Ongoing
-- Full-time or part-time
-- General orthopedic coverage
-- Will consider more than one provider

Shift Description:
-- Clinic coverage 2 days per week
-- Clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
-- Approximately 20 patients per day
-- Walk-ins, pre-op/post-op visits, and some new patients
-- 2 additional days per week for 1st assist in the OR
-- Procedures performed at the hospital or ambulatory surgery center attached to the clinic

Call Details
-- Call coverage: 1–2 nights per week and 1 weekend per month
-- Call response time of 30 minutes
-- Call ratio: 1:5
-- Provider takes call with the physician

Requirements:
-- Idaho license or Open to providers waiting on ID licensure
-- BLS 

Assignment Details:
-- Level III trauma facility
-- Majority of cases are outpatient
-- Approximately 20 patients per day
-- Walk-ins, pre-op/post-op visits, and some new patients
-- Any inpatient needs handled by the physician
-- Support staff includes 3 RNs, 3 MAs, and 3 PA/NPs
-- Beds in Department: 145
-- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30 days
-- EMR: Athena and Meditech
