New Pathology Locums Job in IndianaCoverage Need:- Seeking Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm
- Minimum 1 week per month starting September through December 2026
Description/Requirements for Assignment #116081:- Active Indiana license is strongly preferred (willing to also consider candidates that have an active LOQ on file with the IMLC)
- Board Certification required
- Will be physically onsite at a hospital based lab
- Prefer candidates who are familiar with digital pathology
- Number of cases: caseload is around 60-90 cases per day divided between 3-4 pathologists and cytotechs
Types of Cases:- Biopsies (General mix including: GI, GYN, Breast, GU, Liver and Skin)
- Cancer Resections (Breast, GYN oncology, Colon, etc.)
- Peripheral Blood Smear review (specialists available to review challenging cases)
- Non-Gyn Cytology
- GI biopsies, GYN biopsies, skin biopsies, bladder biopsies, laryngeal biopsies, breast biopsies, liver biopsies, lung biopsies (for tumor), appendix, tonsils, gallbladders, hernias, mastectomies, colon resections, hysterectomies, amputations, placentas, peripheral blood smear reviews, occasionally thyroids, nephrectomies, prostatectomies, large cancer resections, neuropathology. Etc.
- Types of cytology: Non-gyn cytology
