Part-Time Pathology Physician Locums Job in Massachusetts | Flexible Weekday Coverage
Jackson and Coker is partnered with a Massachusetts hospital seeking a part-time Anatomic Pathologist for ongoing locum tenens coverage. The client offers several scheduling options and is open to working around the right physician’s availability.
Schedule Options:
-- Ideally half-day coverage Monday-Friday
-- Will consider every other week
-- Will consider two weeks on/two weeks off
-- No autopsies
Assignment Details/Requirements:
-- Active Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine medical licenses required
-- Must be Anatomic Pathology Board Certified
-- Seeking a strong generalist comfortable with a broad case mix
Additional Details:
-- Approximately 7,000 surgical cases annually, including GI, breast biopsies/excisions/reductions, colon, and prostate
-- Approximately 1,000 Pap cases annually, with most read by the client’s internal team
-- Approximately 650 Non-GYN cytology cases annually
-- Approximately 24 scheduled frozen sections annually
-- Peripheral smear reviews
-- Epic LIS
