Shift Details
-- Scheduled clinical hours Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
-- Every other weekend beeper call
-- Call response time required within 15 minutes
Requirements
-- Board certified in Pathology (anatomic and clinical)
-- Missouri medical license
-- BLS certification
Required Procedures / Skills
-- Surgical pathology
-- GI pathology
-- GU pathology
-- Neuropathology
-- Dermatopathology
-- Hematopathology, including bone marrow aspiration and biopsy
-- Pediatric tumor pathology
-- Cytology, including GYN and non-GYN
-- Performance of fine needle aspirations
-- Autopsy, forensic and non-forensic
-- Grossing or cutting frozen sections
-- Hematology
-- Microbiology
-- Chemistry and serology
-- Blood bank
Assignment Details
-- Inpatient practice setting
-- Assigned patient responsibility
-- Pathology lab supported by histotechnologist and pathology assistant performing grossing
