Coverage Details-- 9/1/2026 – ongoing-- Credentialing timeframe: 30 daysShift Details-- 24-hour call only, 7am-7am-- Weekend coverage required-- Up to 15 days per month spread over 2–3 weekendsRequirements-- Board certified or board eligible-- Texas license or IMLC-- ABLS, BLS, PALSRequired Procedures / Skills-- PICU care-- Nursery Level I and Level II / NICU - Preferred-- Attend C-sections and high-risk deliveries-- Pediatric ventilation management - acute and chronic-- Pediatric intubation - newborn and pediatrics-- Central line placementAssignment Details-- Practice setting: Inpatient-- Admissions required-- Patients per shift: 4–8-- EMR: MediTech / Athena-- Trauma level: 3-- Call type: Beeper-- Call response time: 30 minutes-- Phone consults: 2–6-- Patients seen during call: 1–4-- Admissions during call: 1–4-- Drive-in candidates only-- Flexible scheduling possible
