Shift Details-- Schedule: 12 hours onsite (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) plus night call (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with potential callback if necessary
-- 24-hour call coverage weekday/weeknight
-- 2 weeks per month
Requirements-- Clean malpractice/background history required for temporary privileges
Required Procedures / Skills-- EEG's + EMG's (No EMG machine available)
-- tPA and TNK
-- NCVs
Assignment Details-- Practice setting: Inpatient / Hospital (Comprehensive Stroke Center - 214 beds)
-- Coverage scope: Neurohospitalist coverage for main hospital and 2 low-volume Free-Standing Emergency Departments (FSEDs)
-- Patient population: Adult patients
-- Daily volume: 12 patients per day
-- Direct patient care duties: Providers are not required to admit (handled by Hospitalist or ICU physician)
-- Specialist / Team support: Neurointerventional, Neurocritical Care, Neurosurgery, APPs, and RNs
-- EMR: Meditech
