Shift Details
-- Call coverage to start; clinic and OR needs may be added later
-- 36 patient contact hours per week
-- Monday–Friday with call rotation
-- Weekend coverage required
-- Scheduling model: 7 days on / 7 days off or 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Requirements
-- Board Certified in Plastic Surgery
-- Active Iowa license or active IMLC (LOQ required at name clear)
-- Must be experienced
-- Clean malpractice history and no background issues
-- Must be available for call coverage starting July 10
-- Availability for either 7 on / 7 off or 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off scheduling
-- Must be comfortable with breast reconstruction - please note at time of name clear
Assignment Details
-- Inpatient responsibility required
-- Patient demographics include surgical and cosmetic patients of all ages
-- Average clinic volume: 16+ visits per full day depending on visit type
-- Appointment length: 15–30 minutes
-- EMR: Epic
-- Advanced practice providers on site; supervision not required
-- Nursing support: 1:1
-- Responsibilities include trauma call, emergency department consults, in-office consults and procedures, and reconstructive collaboration with breast surgeons
