Weekend Coverage Need for an Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist Locum Tenens Job in Beautiful Southern CaliforniaDetails/Requirements:*WEEKEND COVERAGE ONLY! Need is for adult inpatient coverage starting ASAP and ongoing. Need is for just one doctor to cover weekends, Saturdays and Sundays only, 8am to 6:30pm. Days and shift hours are non-negotiable! *Board Certification is required. *No call. *65 bed adult unit. *Average daily census is 11-14 patients. *Average length of stay is 3-7 days. Patients on LPS-Conservatorship tend to have longer stays. *Average daily caseload for the locum tenens Psychiatrist is 11-14 patients. *An Internist does the medical physicals for H&Ps on all new admissions and will follow up on all the medical concerns.*Electronic medical record system in place, so you must be computer savvy. *Three month minimum assignments.
