Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist Locum Tenens Job in the San Francisco Bay AreaDetails/Requirements:*Adult inpatient coverage for 40 hours a week starting mid June x 3 months with the option to extend if mutually agreed upon.
*Board Certification is required.
*Generally, the hours are 9am-5pm, M-F.
*There is no after-hours call.
*Some weeks could be M-F 9-5 and other weeks it could be a combination of Weekend Day Shifts 9-5 (tends to be 2-4 weekend days per month) plus some Weekday Shifts 9-5 not to exceed 40 hours per week total.
*The patient load varies depending on the census and the number of docs who are working that day.
*The average length of stay is about 5.5 days, and the average caseload varies but can be anywhere between 5-12 on a weekday. Generally, 1-3 new admissions.
*On weekends it depends on staffing availability but it is generally 8-12 patients on weekends, and generally 1-4 new admissions.
*Client has an electronic health record so candidates must be computer savvy.
*Credentialing can take 60-90 days.
